Our team is comprised of staff expertly trained to assist with your biomechanics, functional mobility, proper loading and sequencing of movements to aid in your physical rehabilitation. They understand that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to get you back on track, within the proper timeline.
Chris Kwon, DPT, CSCS, COMT, USAW-1 CEO/Founder
Dr. Chris Kwon is the lead physical therapist and founder of SPARC Physical Therapy. He obtained his undergraduate education from the University of Southern California, and went on to obtain his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Coast University. He served as class representative for his cohort as well as the liaison for the Greater Los Angeles District for the American Physical Therapy Association. He also worked as a Master Instructor for Equinox, instructing and teaching trainers in the Pasadena and Downtown LA areas. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist as well as a USA Weightlifting coach. He is currently working towards becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. His hobbies include exploring the South Bay, traveling beyond, various forms of working out photography and spending time with his young, growing family.
Lindsey Rubinsky PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Lindsey Rubinsky is a Southern California native who graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, emphasis in exercise science. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. During her time in PT school, Lindsey developed a passion for outpatient physical therapy. She is a caring PT that will provide the best individualized care based on your needs. Lindsey is passionate about the geriatric population and is working towards becoming a Board-Certified Geriatric Clinical Specialist. In her free time, she loves traveling, going to the beach, walking her dogs and going on culinary adventures to try new foods.
Robert Chuman PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Robert Chuman earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland before pursuing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at California State University Long Beach. As a graduate student, he excelled academically, ranking among the top three students in his class, and had the opportunity to present his research at a national conference. Throughout his academic journey, he acquired valuable clinical experience with diverse patient populations, including orthopedic, sports, post-operative, and neurologic cases. A native of Torrance, Robert is deeply rooted in his local community and delivers exceptional care to each and every one of his patients. In his leisure time, he is an avid traveler and enjoys activities such as working out, golfing, and snowboarding.
Abby Estrada PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Abigail (Abby) Estrada received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. During her time there, she was also a part of the collegiate softball team. She then attended Azusa Pacific University to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and further pursued her orthopedic specialization through the Kaiser Orthopedic Residency Program in Orange County. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, working out at the gym, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
Michael Salazar PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Michael Salazar earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the California State University of Northridge. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at California State University Long Beach. He is a compassionate, driven heath care provider who strives to provide the highest quality care for all his patients. In his free time, Michael enjoys golfing, running, weight training, walking his dog, watching Laker games and practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Annika Volbert PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Annika Volbert received her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Sports Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. During her time there, she was also a part of the collegiate club soccer team. She then went on to pursue her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from California State University, Long Beach where she had the opportunity to work with a large variety of patients. She is a compassionate PT who strives to provide her patients with the highest quality care to help them return to their prior level of function or sport. In her spare time, she enjoys golfing, working out, playing spikeball on the beach, and traveling.
Kris Martin PT, DPT Staff Physical Therapist
Dr. Kris Martin is a South Bay native who earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA before receiving his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from USC. He further refined his clinical expertise by completing a Sports Residency through Adventist Health in Glendale. As a movement-focused provider, Kris integrates his background in manual therapy with evidence-based strength and conditioning to empower everyone from weekend warriors to elite athletes to reach their fullest potential. Outside the clinic, Kris is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, skier, and runner who enjoys bringing his firsthand understanding of the physical rigors of sports to the rehabilitation process. In his spare time, he can be found hiking, weightlifting, and refining his various language skills to better serve and connect with a diverse patient population.
